As a general guideline, students who struggle with maths and wish to pursue university pathways that do not include maths (e.g. Law) would be suited to AI SL. Conversely, students who excel in maths and aim to take mathematically challenging courses (e.g. engineering) may consider AA HL. Students in this range may consider AI HL or AA SL pathways.
